Privacy Policy

• Kids can play MeowZap without an account and without giving a name.
• Children are not asked for names, comments, photos, or messages.
• Most of what MeowZap remembers (your kitten, settings, best scores) is saved in your own browser on your own device.
• The only personal information we collect is from adults who choose to contact us or create an organization account.
• We do not sell information and we do not run ads.
• MeowZap's optional AI Voice Guide is for adults age 18 and older. Voice is processed in real time through ElevenLabs, with call recordings and transcripts configured not to be retained after the conversation.

• Your kitten avatar settings and any glasses/dress-up choices.
• Personal best scores and game progress (for example language lessons).
• Sound, music, and accessibility settings (reduce motion, larger text, high contrast, captions, untimed mode).
• A play nickname used only by the paused Party feature, and small preference flags such as chosen difficulty.

• Top score entries. For games that keep a score, we store the game name, the number of points, the difficulty, and the time. No player name, nickname, or other identifier is stored with public scores, and scores are shown by rank only.
• Anonymous usage counts for organization play pages. When a waiting-room or classroom page is opened, we record that a visit happened and which activity and age range was chosen. No names, no accounts, no profiles, and nothing that identifies a child.
• Adult contact details submitted through our forms (below).
• Organization records created by staff (below).

The language and wellness activities described above do not send microphone audio. The optional adult AI Voice Guide described below is separate and uses microphone access only after an adult deliberately starts a voice conversation.

The visitor must deliberately open the guide, accept the displayed terms, and grant browser microphone permission before a voice conversation begins. The guide does not listen automatically.

Microphone audio and conversation text are processed in real time through ElevenLabs and its service providers to operate the voice conversation. The agent is configured with ElevenLabs Zero Retention Mode and audio saving is disabled, so call recordings and transcripts are not retained after the conversation. MeowZap has not configured a post-call transcript or audio webhook and does not receive or store a call recording or transcript.

The guide does not ask for or collect adult contact information during the voice conversation. Adults who want follow-up are directed to MeowZap's existing adult-only website forms.

Visitors must not share any child, student, or patient name, diagnosis, treatment information, school record, medical information, account credential, payment information, or other sensitive personal information. If a visitor indicates that they are under 18, the guide is instructed to stop asking questions and direct them to a parent, caregiver, teacher, or another trusted adult.

The widget stores only a terms-acceptance flag in the visitor's browser under the local-storage key meowzap_voice_guide_terms_v1. This flag does not contain a name, profile, conversation, or other identifying information.

The AI Voice Guide provides general information only. It is not medical care, mental-health care, therapy, diagnosis, educational advice, legal advice, or other professional advice. AI responses may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect.

• Lovable AI Gateway — the text-to-speech used by some activities.
• ElevenLabs — real-time speech recognition, AI conversation processing, and voice generation for the optional adult AI Voice Guide. The guide is configured with Zero Retention Mode and audio saving disabled.
• Google Gmail (connected account) — sending us the notification email when an adult submits a form.
• WebRTC peer connections plus public STUN/TURN relay servers — used only by the Party feature, which is currently disabled.
